Once, to test the low-temperature resistance of a new TPU material, Guo Lei repeatedly performed tensile tests in -40°C conditions. His fingers turned red and went numb, yet he persisted in recording every data point. When a test failed, he adjusted the formula; if it failed again, he refined the process. During that period, his notebook was filled with thousands of experimental data entries—each one reflecting his dedication and hard work.

Without specialized mixing equipment, he kneaded and plasticized the material by hand. Lacking precision testing instruments, he relied on the most basic methods to evaluate performance. Sometimes, to observe how the material changed at different temperatures, he would stay in the lab all night, recording data every 30 minutes. When tired, he would nap briefly in his chair; when hungry, he'd just have a bowl of instant noodles.

This hands-on, perfection-driven approach allowed Guo Lei to accumulate years of practical experience. He knows the properties of every raw material, understands the critical control points in each process step, and has mastered the full workflow from formulation design to finished production. Those challenging early days not only built his solid technical foundation but also forged his unwavering resilience.

When the time was right, Guo Lei made a pivotal decision: to found Nuomai Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., transforming years of technical expertise and practical experience into tangible industrial strength.

Choosing to settle in the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone was a strategic decision made by Guo Lei after careful consideration. This location serves not only as a core hub of the Silk Road Economic Belt but also as a vital gateway connecting China with markets in Central Asia and Europe.
